I've always wanted to carve a watermelon into a basket like I saw on cooking shows. So, I thought that I would give it a shot. I did a pretty good job, to say that this was my first time. I cleaned the watermelon off first:

I chopped a section off each side of the watermelon:

After, I used a large spoon and hollowed out some of the watermelon. Then, I used a knife to cut out triangles along the edge and handle.

I chopped the scooped out watermelon and placed it into the hollowed watermelon. Here's the finished result:
